of the discussion which took place here on the 13th of January on the question of the removal from Rong Kong of the Chinese Telegraph Administration Office,
Dobinson tells me that the Foreign Office
are now taking steps to find out from the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company what is the present posi- tion in regard to their negotiations with the Chinese Government.
